Yoga is a common tool to cope with stress because it relaxes our mind while strengthening our body. This form of exercise and meditation has been practiced for more than 5,000 years around the world. Although it may be intimidating to walk into a yoga studio for the first time and see advanced yogis balancing on their heads, this discipline is for every body type and level of fitness. BreatheMoreYoga was founded by Mindy Porell, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and active yogi. She and her instructors welcome everyone to join our holistic community, where beginners can come and learn about yoga without feeling intimidated by more experienced members. We want to help people in Manchester improve their physical and mental well being in a comfortable studio. In addition to yoga, we also offer the following:

Along with our accommodating class schedule, we also host workshops that can last from one session to several weeks long. These workshops give members and non-members exclusive access to our experienced instructors, who teach Yoga and Fitness and more. We ask that individuals interested in our courses pre-register for their spots, but walk-ins are welcome when space allows. Our workshops can be an introduction to a healing service like Reiki, that someone in Manchester wants to learn more about before becoming a member, or an educational tool to supplement a class you are currently taking.
Community involvement is a core value of our yoga studio. We partner with “From the Heart,” an outreach program in Tolland that supports local families in need, seniors, soldiers and those with mental or physical disabilities. Our instructors and members team up as often as they can to collect food, clothing and donations for the less fortunate. We also host donation-based classes at the studio, where 100 percent of the proceeds benefit From the Heart.
